Attorneys
More than any others, legal professionals are in the "business" of dispute resolution.
Like it or not, most people who are engaged in legal matters would rather not be. Their relationship with legal professionals is often one of unhappy necessity. Consequently, they are prone to anger, irritability, and annoyance — the markers of potentially damaging and costly* conflict. Attorneys and their staff are well-served by knowledge of conflict and its behavioral management.
ADR attorneys will find the conference of particular relevance and value, regardless of their prior training in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods.
The Train-the-Professional (Track 3) option is ideal for attorneys and paralegals. You will gain not only the knowledge, but also the tools, for management and prevention of conflict — with clients as well as with staff.
Managers who supervise the work of others may prefer the Train-the-Manager (Track 2) option. You'll receive the Coaching Video and all the other resources received by registering for Track 3.
Continuing Legal Education CLE's have been approved by several states. States have separate application procedures but requirements are quite similar. Approval need not be received prior to attendance. Request the application form for your state. All information you need to fill out the form is on linked pages listed under "Conference Info" in the blue navigation panel on the left. You will receive a certificate upon completion of the Conference that documents your attendance and the number of contact hours.
