The 2007 MTI Cruise (New York to Bermuda) was yet another smashing success — the tradition continues! Join us for the 2008 MTI Mediation-at-Sea cruise for professional development in an exquisite environment.
Plan early — this once-a-year trans-Atlantic repositioning cruise is expected to sell out early. We recommend that you book your cabin soon to get best selection and price. You may register for your choice of on-board educational events later. MTI has been allotted a limited number of cabins.
Featuring . . .
Mediator Certification Course — This is believed to be the first time that a full 40-hour (5-day) mediator certification course has been held at sea. MTI's training is best-of-class. +More
Certification Conference in Managing Workplace Conflict — A 2-day program for mediators, facilitators, coaches, and other professionals — with trainer certification option. Approved for continuing education credits by several professional groups, including the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA). +More
Meeting with Canary Islands mediators — As a reprise of our meeting with Bermudian mediators (see photo) on the 2007 MTI cruise, we are organizing a meeting with mediator colleagues in the Canary Islands.
Workshops — An assortment of one-hour sessions is included free when you book your cruise with MTI. +More
Coaching — Professionally qualified coaches, with a wide range of coaching specializations, will be aboard to offer free coaching sessions to Mediation-at-Sea passengers. Are you a coach? +More
Christmas season in New York — We arrive in San Juan, Puerto Rico, December 13, the midst of the most beautiful season of the year in New York. The Big Apple may be an appealing stop-over on your return home, particularly for our European ship-mates — one-way fares from San Juan to NYC are surprisingly inexpensive. MTI's Travel Agent LaVonne McKay can assist in preparing air and lodging packages in New York City. +More
Most on-board programs qualify for Continuing Mediator Education (CME) credits.
It is not necessary to register for certification events to join the MTI Cruise. However, booking your stateroom with MTI's Travel Agent is required to particpate in any MTI events.
All who join the cruise will receive an autographed copy of Managing Differences: How to Build Better Relationships at Work and Home by Daniel Dana, Ph.D. Dr. Dana and wife Susan will be on board.
