Terry Marschall, Advisor and Senior Principal Trainer
Terry Marschall has been active as a mediator of workplace conflict for more than three decades. In her capacity as a certified mediator and as a principal trainer for the Mediation Training Institute, she has guided hundreds of people in resolving their differences in the workplace. Terry’s background as a small business owner, consultant, and as a senior executive in the Fortune 500 arena, allows her a deep understanding of the issues that face today’s workplace.
Dr. Dan Dana, Founder and Advisor
Dan Dana is the original founder of MTI, and now serves on the board of directors for MTI. Holding a Ph.D. in psychology, Dan served for several years as a professor of organizational behavior at the University of Hartford (Connecticut) Graduate School of Business and has held faculty appointments at Syracuse University and several other institutions.

Kim Faircloth, PhD, ICF-ACC, SHRM-SCP, SPHR has twenty-five plus years of leadership development, executive coaching, management, and professional human resources experience. Dr. Faircloth’s degrees are in Human Resources Management and Organizational Leadership. Her dissertation was on the topic of mediation, and she has coached thousands of employees on addressing interpersonal conflict while promoting productive conflict skills necessary for innovation.

Holly Tompson, PhD, PCC has taught MBA courses in Leadership Competencies, Conflict Management & Negotiations and International Management and has also led over a dozen international study courses for graduate students. Mary Lou is a founding director of OAK Conflict Dynamics, the leading Irish provider of mediation, conflict management training and consultancy in workplace dynamics. She has extensive experience over the past fourteen years in working with senior management in multinational companies, public and private hospitals, small and medium sized enterprises and public organizations across Ireland and Europe. Mary Lou works in partnership with MTI, and she is also a professional mediator and lectures in Mediation with the Department of Law in Griffith College, Dublin, Ireland.

Dr. Catherine Carr is a Master Corporate Executive Coach, Supervisor, Psychotherapist, Conflict Coach, Principal Trainer for the Conflict Dynamics Profile and university instructor with over twenty-five years of experience. Roy Cheng has been a certified trainer with MTI since 2004. He is the founder and managing consultant of ISE Consultants Ltd, and a conflict management coach. As a conflict resolution practitioner, Roy was the first mediator to resolve two public disputes in Hong Kong. Prior to commencing his dispute resolution practice, he had extensive experiences in a wide range of industries including banking, real estate, investment, jewelry trading and information technology.

Kathy Kan is a certified Principal Trainer through the Mediation Training Institute and brings with her a focus on providing conflict resolution training to both the public and private sectors. She works with Roy Cheng at ISE Consultants Ltd, and is also the Director of the Hong Kong Institute of Mediation Limited. Prior to gaining mediation accreditation, Kathy worked extensively in the commercial sector with over ten years in both investment banking and advertising.
